Free Adware Removal Software’s Little Secret

The majority of computers in use today have become infected, to one degree or another, by adware. As a result, the popularity of free adware removal programs available for download from the internet is not surprising.

Getting something for free is always appealing, especially when we think it’s going to benefit us in some way. What could be more beneficial than removing frustrating adware from our PC? Often many PC users are willing to pay to remove the ads and their associated software, but if they can do it for free, even better.

It’s free. Can they say that enough? It’s free. No cost. No obligation. But is it the best available? Not all of the free software intended to remove adware is equal. Some are better than others. Do your research to find the best one for you.

In the marketplace you get what you pay for. But it’s free!! Yes, it is. But, does it have the capability of doing the job of removing adware adequately? Unfortunately, free adware removal software often comes with a long list of disadvantages that the vendor would like to keep secret.

The first little secret is sometimes the biggest surprise. Yes, software looks for and destroys adware programs. BUT, and here’s the kicker, while they’re removing someone else’s software, they’re installing their own at the same time. You’ve just wasted your time and energy trying to get rid of unwanted software, only to have it replaced by something equally annoying. If you had paid for and used a good quality program, that probably would not have happened to you.

The next little secret is that the software may not as advertised. Many of these free adware removal programs are not as represented. While they will scan your PC for adware, they don’t remove it. They’ll give you a list of what they find and you’ll either have to pay them a fee to remove the adware or you start a search for another free download. What you have done is wasted time looking for free software that didn’t do the job. It might have been better to have paid for a program that did the whole job.

One more shortcoming in this free software is that it doesn’t always do the job. It can miss a lot of the adware that’s sitting on your PC. Once again, time and effort is wasted looking for and using a free program that just didn’t work.

Does all free adware removal software have these dirty little secrets? Here’s where you need to do your research. Read the reviews of the software. Ask others about their experience. Use a reputable source for downloads. Free software can be useful. Free software can do the job for you. Not all of the software packages share these secrets, but it’s up to you to find them.
